Hope In A Suitcase
Our Parish continues to be a collection point for Hope in a Suitcase, an organisation providing children in out-of-home care with a new suitcase full of essential belongings to call their own when entering foster care.  With more than 46,000 children living in out-of-home care across Australia, the need for items to pack into the suitcases has never been so important.  If you would like to help, donations of new clothing, toiletries, books, pencils etc for all ages from birth to 18 years can be left at both Ringwood and Knox churches.  These are then taken to the Hope in a Suitcase organisation for packing and distribution. The on-going donations that our Parish has collected this year have been enormously appreciated and they pass on their sincere thanks for our contribution which has helped to fill the 4,338 suitcases delivered to children across Australia so far in 2025.
