DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy a warm cup of soup\, cake and coffee\, listen to a variety of talented musicians\, experience and sharethe fellowship and company of other members of our community. \nCome along on July 6th  for the entertainment provided by Kate Pengelly.\nKate Pengelly is a young mezzo-soprano\, studying at The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Recently\, she has enjoyed a range of performance opportunities including Victorian Opera’s Emerging Artists productions Il Mago di Oz and Melbourne\, Cheremushki as well as Home Alone with the MSO chorus. Kate is delighted to share this heartfelt program\, where classics and new favourites come together. She is accompanied by: Ashlynn Beh – a third-year piano performance student studying in The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music\, University of Melbourne. As well as a part-time private piano tutor working with young children\, she is experienced with accompanying vocalists and working alongside other instrumentalists in duos and ensemble settings. She will also showcase several solo pieces on the piano as well. DESCRIPTION:On the first Sunday of each month Knox hosts ‘Bible Song’. The children learn a Bible story (sometimes ‘performed’ by adult helpers) and even learn how to sign the main Bible verse using Auslan (Australian Sign Language). When they return to the congregation at the end of the service they become teachers and teach the congregation about their lesson.

SUMMARY:Junior Youth @ Knox
DESCRIPTION:On the third Friday of every month ourJunior Youth (10-16-year-olds) meet at Knox from 6.30 pm. They enjoy a meal together and then explore aspects of the Christian faith via PowerPoint presentations\, games\, songs\, crafts and other activities. Pastor Peter and our youth leaders love mentoring young people\, and their enthusiasm and commitment is contagious. It can be tough being a young Christian in a largely secular society. Junior Youth offers encouragement and works to strengthen the faith and friendship of our young members.

The children learn a Bible story (sometimes ‘performed’ by adult helpers) and even learn how to sign the main Bible verse using Auslan (Australian Sign Language). When they return to the congregation at the end of the service they become teachers and teach the congregation about their lesson.
